***Update***

Dad's tree is growing like crazy. By the way, it is called a Royal Empress, we bought it online here http://www.fast-growing-trees.com/EmpressTree.htm
When we got this tree, we were all scared. It was a twig in a dirt ball. But following the instructions that was sent with the twig, we were surprised it went from this brown twig to what we see 15 months later.
Here is what it looked like after being in a planter for the winter, Remember that the white fence/guard is only 12 inches high and the tree is at the top of the fence.

This is what it looks like as of 9-10-2010
now  now
I mean OMG! Look at how huge it is now. went from a 6" dead twig to a 6' tall, huge leaf shade tree. Check the dates on the pictures people, these trees rock.

All of the donations will go towards the trees, we seem to love this one below,

"The fragrance is incredible… it’s like a cross between gardenia and jasmine"
His 2 favorite scents.

that is being planted in his name and also to help out Suzanne with the added bills that have accumulated over the time Mike was sick. Anything is greatly appreciated.

You will note that the Paypal donation is going through little Michael's company name of The Computer Guys, so please do not think it is a scam or the link is bad.

This site is dedicated to a great man that has always been there to help anyone that needed him.

Michael H Baird was a great man that was kinda of like the father figure of the neightborhood. He was always that person that you could bring your problems to, and he would sit and listen to you and help you figure them out...and always wih a smile. Please make sure to browse the photos, and add some if you wish, make an entry in the storiy section.

Tell your story on how this man touched your heart and life as I know he has touched many of us in so many ways. Your story can be as long or short as you wish, you may upload a pisture or link to one of you need to...the world needs to know what it has lost in body but the universe needs to know how he still plays a huge part in the humanity of everyone that knew him in life.

The photo album works now, so if you have pictures, please make sure you upload them to share your memories with all. You may add descriptions that tell a tale about each picture if you wish.

We have the donation section to help the family plant a tree in his name and also help with the family bills. Anything will be helpful, but absolutely nothing would be exepcted. I know my father was always there to help anyone he could but was always way too proud to ask for help for himself.

If you have anything you would like to add to this site in remembrence, please let a family member know and we will share what you would like as soon as possible.
